Our philosophy here at the nourished hoof
Always as natural as possible.
When we founded The Nourished Hoof Ltd we had and still have many ideas on various products we could design and make. In the few short months we have been in business we have produced and launched 8 products. Trust me when I say that launching a single product is hard work, from design, through testing, making and then launching is no mean feat, all while we both work our normal day job or jobs as the case is with both of us.
So come behind the scenes while we tell you some our founding principles that we never compromise on.
Ingredients:
We both believe passionately that our and your horses deserve only the best ingredients, every single product we have designed and made could be done so using cheaper alternative than we currently use. While this would maximise our profits, it would betray one of our core principles. The products we use are selected on their nourishing properties and effectiveness. We never compromise. Rest assured that anything used in all our range is there for a reason.
No animal products....EVER:
We never use any animal derived products, some companies use things such as animal fats to bulk up their products. All our range are free from animal fats, We are Vegan friendly.
As natural as possible:
We believe that natural is the way forward. we strive hard to keep our products as natural as possible and it is always at the forefront of our mind in the design phase, it can be very temping to use chemicals that are often cheaper and easier to obtain. If chemicals are required to treat a condition then we will use it so its effective such as Benzyl Benzoate in our sweet itch or Hydrogen Peroxide in our thrush assassin, If chemical compounds can be avoided, we avoid them and stick to only natural substances, for example, we don't use silicone in our mane & tail conditioner, we rely on the power of nature and our shared belief that its the best and only way.
Our own twist on things:
We try to stand out from the crowd, when designing everything we do, we always try to put our own twist on things, from our caffeine infused emollient to our frankincense infused mane & tail conditioner, we aim to bring a new modern twist in our own unique style. We aim to build a brand based on originality and quality that go hand in hand with your desire to care for your equine companion with only the finest quality goods.
